Dedicated to "My lovely Mother" and all the beautiful mothers in the world...!!!

Thak gaya hun main Maa, teri godd main sona chahta hun,
yaad karke apna bachpan, teri godd main phir se rona chahta hun.
Uss godd main tab ka rona, aaj ki khushi se kahin badkar hai,
Uss god main tab ka hasna, aaj ki zindagi se kahin badkar hai..!!

Mujhe der raat garam garam rotiyan khilati thi,
raat raat jaag kar mujhe padna seekhati thi,
Subah jaldi uth kar jo mujhe taiyaar karati thi,
school bag pakad jo mujhe bus main chadhati thi,
shaam ko school se aane par meri saari kahaniyan sunti thi,
bhulaye nhi bhulti wo hasi jo uss samay mukh pe tere aati thi..!!

Aaj main ho gya hun life main bahut busy,
na milti hai garam roti na lagti hai life easy.
tujhe yaad kar kar kaat-ta hun zindagi,
ye corporate life nahi, hai narak ki zindagi..!!

To be continued...

Usme kuch to baat thi...!!!

Usme kuch to baat thi,
jo kal wo mere saath thi.
Usme kuch to baat thi,
jo aaj wo mujhe yaad hai..!!

Usme kuch to baat thi,
jo aaj bhi usi pe atka hun,
Usme kuch to baat thi.
jo aaj bhi aage na badh saka hun..!!

Usme kuch to baat thi,
jo raat - raat neend na aati thi,
Usme kuch to baat thi,
jo din main bhi uski yaad satati thi..!!

Usme kuch to baat thi,
jo ladko se wo ladti thi.
Usme kuch to baat thi,
jo phir bhi wo mujhse pyaar karti thi..!!

Usme kuch to baat thi,
jo i still miss her.
Usme kuch to baat thi,
jo i still wanna kiss her..!!

Na jeb main paise na bike main petrol, jo tha wo bas ek phata hua atm cum debit card...!!! - But still kept thanking god...

It's strange how some days just turn into nightmares within a few moments. I encountered one such day recently.

I was coming back home from meeting my friend when suddenly petrol in my bike finished. This was not the first time that the fuel tank of my bike had gone empty. A couple of days ago also it had got empty but then i was lucky then. I had called up my friend then who brought some petrol with him in a cottle and then we both went to the petrol pump and got the fuel tank filled. Even that day, i didn't have much money but it was somehow enough to keep my bike moving for a couple of days. But, my ignorance of the fact that even last time i couldn't get enough petrol in the bike had this time come to haunt me hard.

This time, the petrol in my bike finished at the Tribune Chowk. I tried a number of times to start my bike with the few petrol drops that might have been there in the bike but all my efforts went in vain. But i certainly thanked god that atleast this time, i was much much closer to the petrol pump than last time, as the petrol pump is just 100 meters away from the chowk. So, i drag my bike to the petrol pump.

Now, just before gwtting my turn at the filling point, i looked into my wallet, only to find two notes of ten rupees and a few coins. I was shocked to see that and realised how i had spent the money earlier with my friend before reaching here. But i find an ATM cum DEBIT card in my wallet. I thanked god again.

Just as i pulled out my card, i found it to be torn. I was shattered again. Sensing great troubles ahead, i decided to finally call one of my friends to get me out of this situation. But, i guess a lot more drama was in store for me.

I click the dial button for my friend's number and put the phone on my ears, only to hear that "Kindly recharge your phone immediately as balance is insufficient to proceed through the call". I cursed myself and remembered that how i was thinking of recharging my phone in the market, just a few minutes ago when i was driving on my bike. Then i sent a message but found that the message pack had expired the last night only. Now, i was certainly losing hope in the middle of the petrol pump, though i could certainly have petrol worth rupees 25 in my bike...:P

Finallyi decided to ask the person at the petrol pump if he could try my torn card to see if it works. He agreed to try and after around 10 hit and trials with different positions of my card and a few minutes, he told me that my card had worked and asked me to write the pin number. I thanked god again and pressed the necessary buttons. He inserted the amount but told me that my card didn't have money. I was shocked the most now and asked him to try again since this was certainly impossible. I told him that the pin number might have been wrong since i knew three pin numbers for one card and i didnt exactly know the correct one.

So, he tried again and i inserted the second pin to find that pin was again wrong. I asked him to try one more time and this time he told me that "Sir, this is your last chance since if you dont insert the right pin this time, your card might just hang and then you won't be able to do anything." I asked him to anyways proceed because i already didn't have much money and what more worse can it get from here. So, it was definitely worth a try.

He swiped the card and asked me to insert the pin. I prayed to god and inserted the last pin i knew.

What happened next was my bike didnt need any new petrol for quiet a long time. I was lucky at the end of the day and i again thank god for the lessons taught.

7 Khoon Maaf: Found "not maaf" in my review...!!!

7 khoon maaf boasts of a quality director in the name of Vishal Bhardwaj and brilliant actors of the likes of Priyanka Chopra, Naseeruddin Shah, Irrfan khan, John Abraham, Annu Kapoor and others. Vishal Bhardwaj has established himself as one of the best and innovative and dark shaded directors of his times through his previous films like Maqbool, Omkara and Kaminey and does quiet good with this film too. But he somewhere is unable to give a solid reason behind susanna's six marriages one after the other. The film based on the novel - Susanna's Seven Husbands - by Ruskin Bond is unable to make the same impact on the audience as the novel. Though the screenplay is good overall, it lacks reasoning sometimes.

The too much demanding role from Priyanka Chopra takes a toll on her with she over acting in some places but overall does a decent job. She has acted with conviction. But midway in the film, she seems in a hurry to complete all the list of her husbands. The movie shows that her character gives good enough chance to her first two husbands, played by two very good actors- Neil Nitin Mukesh and John Abraham with their decent performances. But with later husbands, her character seems to be just moving too fast without giving them any chance to regret.

Irrfan khan and Naseeruddin shah play their role fantastically and prove their worth again as established actors. Annu kapoor, at times seems to have over acted. Vivaan has acted pretty well. He seems to have the acting in his genes. The Russian actor has played his part very well and his hindi film dialogues generate some lighter moments in the movie.

The movie lacks any strong climax as the title itself explains everything, though the seventh husband mystery is somewhat good. But it fails to provide any strong twist to the movie.

Overall i would give a rating of 2.5 out of 5 to 7KM which means you can watch the movie in theaters only if you have a lovely partner or enough movie to spend. Otherwise wait till the movie premiers on TV soon. I would also like to add that i am no specialist critic on movies but i am just a normal bollywood movies lover and the above mentioned is purely my opinion.

That dreadful fight and the valentine day...!!!

Raj never thought of betraying anyone. He was that normal guy who woun't play with other's emotions to keep himself happy. But that day, he had, unfortunately and unintentionally, committed that sin which she still recalls as BETRAYAL.

Their relationship was well into the third quarter of the year (:P), with their first Valentine week approaching (:D). Their relationship was always peaceful even though they fought more regularly than any two hostile neighbouring countries. Raj had told her lady love that he was trying to move on since they both were going to be separated in a couple of months and none was in favour of a long distance relationship. Even she agreed to this decision of Raj. But it was not meant to be so.

That day, Raj decided to finally call the day off and called her to tell her that he was finally going to propose someone else on this valentine and she should also move on. The news came out as a heart break for the girl who was full in tears for the next couple of days. She couldn't sleep the next few days and was heavily under depression. She couldn't even talk to Raj about this as not only she was deeply hurt to get that shocking news but also she knew that that is going to happen sooner or later. Raj couldn't talk to her as he knew that the situation didn't allow him to do so. He  had committed a wrong and he didn't want to do another wrong then, by calling her again.

Days went passed but both were still in deep pain. Raj still hadn't moved on from the relationship while the girl couldn't even think of moving on. She had never seen that coming and was deeply hurt. She finally decides to meet him one last time to break all relations that they shared for such a long time.

They meet on a scorching thursday morning at the backside of the lake. She tells him that how much she was hurt to hear that he was proposing someone else. She couldn't bear the pain of the heartbreak. She couldn't think what to do next. She was toally broken.
"The matters of heart are certainly not decided by the application of mind."
After listening to all what she had to say, Raj was even more heart broken. He hadn't really expected this reaction from her. Now he had fallen more deeply for her and couldn't even think of leaving her. He tells her that he is not proposong anyone and he wants to be with her. He tells her that he had thought that the idea of his proposal to someone else would help both of them move on but he had realised that such an idea had infact brought them more closer than before. But she wouldn't buy any of his arguments. She tells him that she is leaving in a couple of days to delhi to meet her friends and to forget him. So he shouldn't contact her anymore. Raj tried to persuade her to stay and believe him but she doesn't believe him and instead asks him to leave immediately so that she can spend sometime alone. Raj was helpless and thus, leaves her in the arms of the nature.

The valentine week was here but it was certainly not there for Raj and his love. He spent nights thinking about her and waiting for her call or message. It was not easy for his love as well. She would spend the whole night crying and talking to her room mate. Both knew that it was not going right but both also knew that they couldn't do much to make it right. Just the idea of love had started haunting both of them.

Finally, the girl called him up one night. He picked the phone. But both were quiet, unaware of how to start the conversation. After around 10 seconds, Raj breaks the silence and starts off in a furry, not allowing her to speak and just expressing all the feelings he had for her. With tears in his eyes (and bear in his hand.. :P.. no no), he is unstoppable with the flow of emotions. The girl's heart finally melts after listeing to him and she speaks the golden words that have, for long, kept their relation floating. Tears of happiness flow all around and in their company, they feel the love again. The girl informs raj that she is leaving for delhi the next day only and so won't be able to meet him and she would also not disclose the time of her departure. After much persuasion, she finally reveals the timing of her train.

It was 3am that night (or morning), when both had slept. But it was 5 am, that same morning that raj wake up to meet his lady love at the station. With hands in hand and hearts in hearts, they walked at the station for close to 2 hours, falling in love again for each other as always in the past...

There was absolutely no contact between them for the next couple of days when the valentine day finally arrives. Raj calls his love at around 11:45pm that night and she is furious over not having recieved any communication from him for the last couple of days. He feels sorry but persuades her wish him first but she wouldn't. So, just as the clock is about to tick 12 midnight, she finally relents to his efforts and wishes him happy valentine's day (or night), to which he equally responds, with love. The couple is happy today and still in love as earlier, with the same fighting spirit.. :P

P.S. - Thanks to my dear friend who put in all those emotions and love into this story. Without him and his love, there wasn't going to be any story.

The 90/10 Principle - It will change your outlook towards life...!!!

"Author: Stephen Covey"
Discover the 90/10 Principle.
It will change your life (at least the way you react to situations).
What is this principle? 10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life is decided by how you react.
What does this mean? We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us.
We cannot stop the car from breaking down. The plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off. A driver may cut us off in traffic.
We have no control over this 10%. The other 90% is different. You determine the other 90%.
How? ……….By your reaction.
You cannot control a red light. but you can control your reaction. Don't let people fool you; YOU can control how you react.
Let's use an example.
You are eating breakfast with your family. Your daughter knocks over a cup of coffee onto your business shirt. You have no control over what just happened.
What happens next will be determined by how you react.
You curse.
You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the cup over. She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your spouse and criticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table. A short verbal battle follows. You storm upstairs and change your shirt. Back downstairs, you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus.
Your spouse must leave immediately for work. You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school. Because you are late, you drive 40 miles an hour in a 30 mph speed limit.
After a 15-minute delay and throwing $60 traffic fine away, you arrive at school. Your daughter runs into the building without saying goodbye. After arriving at the office 20 minutes late, you find you forgot your briefcase. Your day has started terrible. As it continues, it seems to get worse and worse. You look forward to coming home.
When you arrive home, you find small wedge in your relationship with your spouse and daughter.
Why? …. Because of how you reacted in the morning.
Why did you have a bad day?
A) Did the coffee cause it?
B) Did your daughter cause it?
C) Did the policeman cause it?
D) Did you cause it?
The answer is "D".
You had no control over what happened with the coffee. How you reacted in those 5 seconds is what caused your bad day.
Here is what could have and should have happened.
Coffee splashes over you. Your daughter is about to cry. You gently say, "Its ok honey, you just need to be more careful next time". Grabbing a towel you rush upstairs. After grabbing a new shirt and your briefcase, you come back down in time to look through the window and see your child getting on the bus. She turns and waves. You arrive 5 minutes early and cheerfully greet the staff. Your boss comments on how good the day you are having.
Notice the difference?
Two different scenarios. Both started the same. Both ended different.
Why?
Because of how you REACTED.
You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens. The other 90% was determined by your reaction.
Here are some ways to apply the 90/10 principle. If someone says something negative about you, don't be a sponge. Let the attack roll off like water on glass. You don't have to let the negative comment affect you!
React properly and it will not ruin your day. A wrong reaction could result in losing a friend, being fired, getting stressed out etc.
How do you react if someone cuts you off in traffic? Do you lose your temper? Pound on the steering wheel? A friend of mine had the steering wheel fall off) Do you curse? Does your blood pressure skyrocket? Do you try and bump them?
WHO CARES if you arrive ten seconds later at work? Why let the cars ruin your drive?
Remember the 90/10 principle, and do not worry about it.
You are told you lost your job.
Why lose sleep and get irritated? It will work out. Use your worrying energy and time into finding another job.
The plane is late; it is going to mangle your schedule for the day. Why take outpour frustration on the flight attendant? She has no control over what is going on.
Use your time to study, get to know the other passenger. Why get stressed out? It will just make things worse.
Now you know the 90-10 principle. Apply it and you will be amazed at the results. You will lose nothing if you try it. The 90-10 principle is incredible. Very few know and apply this principle.
The result?
Millions of people are suffering from undeserved stress, trials, problems and heartache. We all must understand and apply the 90/10 principle.
It CAN change your life!!!
Enjoy…

"Yeh Saali Zindagi" - Truth or just a fictious movie...!!!

Rahul is a college going student who is currently enjoying holidays after his semester exams have finished. He is a bindaas guy who likes to enjoy his life to the fullest but not at the cost of others. He recently proposed this girl and she accepted the proposal. They have been chatting for some days now. Recently, rahul was as usual chatting on his phone with his girlfriend, early in the night, when he recieved a call from one of his very good friend, who is also his batchmate at college. She asks if he could accompany her for a late night movie as she was feeling very bored at her PG. Rahul checks on the late night movie shows in the city and confirms his friend to come for the movie at 11:45 pm in one of the malls.

Now, Rahul may be very bindaas in his life but to leave for a late night movie, he has to inform his parents. His elder sister had just returned with her baby from her in-laws to spend the night here. So, Rahul now talks to his sister. He tells her that he has to go for the movie and asks her to make out some plan for his exit. So, his sister says him to lock the house from outside, taking the keys alongwith and saying at home that he is going for a walk. rest she will handle at home by asking other members of the family to go to sleep while she will wait for him to return from his walk. According to the plan, he walks out of the home with the lock and the keys and his sister takes care of everyone at home.

Rahul reaches just in time for the movie and is kind of shocked to find that his friend had already bought the tickets to the movie. The person at the ticket counter gave her two corner seats and that too in the last row and the movie was totally abusive and adult having the title - "YEH SAALI ZINDAGI". They enjoyed the movie to the fullest with a lot of whistles and shouts. It was awesome atmosphere, besides rahul was also chatting to his girlfriend through the movie.

After the movie was over, Rahul drops her friend home and leaves for his home. As he was driving his bike, he witnesses a shocking accident. A truck driver rammed his truck into a round-about, crossing half of the round-about and parking his truck on the round-about... :P. Rahul initially just leaves by the place to move towards his home but then returns back to click a few pictures of the scene. In some time, the police also arrives. They question the drunk driver and on not getting answers, they threaten him with the stick. Then they noted down his full name, address and other essential details. Rahul leaves from that place and calls up his girlfriend to shafre this experience. His girlfriend tells him that she is feeling very bored even though she really liked his experience but she is feeling like doing something but can't do anything.

So, Rahul decides to give her a surprise. After some 10 minutes of drive, he calls her and asks her to see through the window. she finds him standing outside and getting soaked in the rain showers that night. She can't come out but both just look through the window to each other and can feel each other, talking on phone. Finally After spending sometime there outside her home, Rahul finally returns home, reminding himself of "YEH SAALI ZINDAGI" - jo sach main bahut haseen hai...
